When putting in  the login, remeber to only put your credential, which is the first part of the email, not the whole email. E.g. for students: sXXXXXX.

Read permissions are separate from write permissions. Confirm that you have the read access for the dataset.

Request access through the datastreams’ page or contact the dataset owner. Access may require approval or specific permissions. Read more about it in the Get access to data section in User Guide.

Units should be listed in the datastream’s metadata. In order to check them,  choose "Unit" in the metadata column. You can read more about finding specific metadata in the Datastream inspection section of the User Guide.
If you’re having trouble adding someone to a group, it’s likely because they haven’t registered on energydata.dk yet. A user must complete registration before they can be added to a group.

The time it takes to send the data depends on the size of the file you request and the traffic on the website. Usually it should take no longer than a couple of minutes. If you are not receiving the data after an hour – try again. If the problem persists, please reach out to our team at: energydatadk@dtu.dk.

As a data user you cannot join an existing group on your own. Group administrator is responsible for adding members to the group.  Please reach out to group administrator.

API & Upload

Your token could have been entered incorrectly. Check your account settings and generate a new token if needed and delete the old one.

While there is no limit on the number of datastreams within a dataset, please note that batch uploads may be subject to timeout or size constraints. Very large datasets should be uploaded in smaller increments rather than a single batch.

The metadata file size limit is 19MB. If your dataset exceeds this, split the structure into multiple files and upload them individually.
