Visit the Signup and Login section of Platform Guide for step-by-step instructions on account creation and login.

When putting in  the login, remeber to only put your credential, which is the first part of the email, not the whole email. E.g. for students: sXXXXXX.

Read permissions are separate from write permissions. Confirm that you have the read access for the dataset.

Request access through the datastreams’ page or contact the dataset owner. Access may require approval or specific permissions. Read more about it in the Get access to data section in Platform Guide.

Units should be listed in the datastream’s metadata. In order to check them,  choose “Unit” in the metadata column. You can read more about finding specific metadata in the Datastream inspection section of the Platform Guide.

A user must be registered on energydata.dk before they can be added to any group. If you cannot find them, please ensure they have completed their account setup.

Tip for DTU Students: Most DTU student accounts are linked to their official student email. The format is:

sXXXXXX@student.dtu.dk

The time it takes to send the data depends on the size of the data you request and the traffic on the website. Usually it should take no longer than a couple of minutes. If you are not receiving the data after an hour – try again. If the problem persists, please reach out to our team at: energydatadk@dtu.dk.
